About this work
Hat feather composed of the mounted head of a bird of paradise (?), feathers of the hummingbird and other tropical birds. A green bird head is set on green, brown and spiral tail feathers of a bird of paradise (?) in green to yellow, and red to white. Separate from this an oval tuft of large rose feathers and a small attachment of green iridescent feathers.
