About this work

Display case of pine wood decorated with lacquer. Both the narrow sides and the two high doors are glazed and divided in two by a horizontal muntin. The lacquer painting of the low plinth and the frieze of the molded straight pediment consists of small landscapes, partly in relief in gold of different tones against a black background. The stiles and rails of the doors are painted with floral and leafy scrolls, alternating with butterflies.
