Child's jacket (carriage coat) for a girl or boy of white twill cotton with hanging round collar and decorated with broderie anglaise. Model: round neck, blouson long sleeves, high waist. Double flat pleats at front and back giving extra room from high waist. Fastening front center with two mother-of-pearl buttons and buttonholes on the short upper part. Short bodice lined with white linen, rest unlined. Decoration: an insert with open flowers runs along the front panels and horizontally above the hem. Collar and sleeves trimmed with scalloped batiste with broderie anglaise. Hem with a border of three rows of open flowers above each other and scalloped.
