About this work

Insert piece of natural-colored bobbin lace, Valenciennes lace. Rhomboid with lobes. The pattern consists of a slightly curved branch with pointed oval leaves with one rose between them. The rose is made in a mesh ground, a diamond-shaped Valenciennes ground, with one knot above and below the branch. The motifs are made in linen stitch with openwork edges and cutouts. A band runs along the outer edge.
