Cuff of natural-colored bobbin lace: Cluny lace. This concerns a fine type within the group of Cluny laces. Trapezium model with a V-shaped point at the center on one long side. The symmetrical pattern consists of a decorative border with a row of linked diamonds and in each diamond one relief flower. The border is made in net stitch, the diamonds in linen stitch with openwork edges and contour threads and the relief flowers lie on the linen stitch. Along the short sides and continuing along the V-shaped point is a scalloped edge with suns with rays of picoted braids and decorations in form stitch. One openwork row with such suns stands above the decorative border, which is crowned by a triangular field with three linked diamonds as in the decorative border.
