Cup with a classical scene

Cup (trembleuse) of porcelain with a cylindrical wall and braided, C-shaped handle, painted on the glaze in enamel colors and gold. On the outer wall a classical scene of a landscape with a goddess (Venus?) floating on a cloud, who with the help of several putti hands a helmet and a shield to a soldier (Mars?). Below the cloud an old man leaning on a jug from which water flows, a personification of a river. Further on the wall golden scattered flowers. Golden line above the foot and a band with golden balls on the rim. The handle is covered with gold. Marked on the underside with the wheel and NI.
