About this work
Porcelain sugar bowl, painted on the glaze in enamel colors, silver[?] and gold. The can is covered with blue over which a pattern of circles has been applied in gold. Cut out herefrom twice a rocaille cartouche containing a couple in a landscape. In one of the cartouches the couple is accompanied by a second man. Handles in the form of flower branches. The inner rim and the bottom with floral scrolls. Marked on the underside with the shield, the letters N and O.
