About this work

The hanging lamp consists of a canopy hung on four chains. This has a cut-out decoration in which vine work and birds are included. On the inside a globe of frosted glass is mounted. The chains consist of links and three rods, of which the lower and upper are provided with etched and chased vine work. Against the canopy a volant of frosted glass beads is attached and for shielding the lighting a natural-colored cloth with beige batik ornament motifs.
