About this work

Length of silk fabric of brocaded and weft-faced lampas liséré. Design: bizarre pattern of feather-like leaves and fruit shapes (pomegranates?) filled with geometric motifs in ecru (ground weave), green (liséré), ecru (weft), ecru (weft), pink (weft), and gold thread (gold-colored lamella around silk core) on a green ground.
