Red earthenware pot. The inside is covered with lead glaze, the outside with a dark brown glaze. The pot stands on four flat rectangular feet and is decorated with four pairs of snails in high relief under a border frieze with vertical, upward-curving relief stripes, interrupted at the front by the inscription Oost West / Thuis Best., also in relief. Below this, a round medallion with a sitting cat in relief. The pot is unmarked.
