About this work

Verse of three stanzas of four lines each on the Dutch Maiden at the unveiling on 17 November 1869 of the National Monument in honor of King Willem I and in memory of 50 years of independence and the founding of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 1813, in the Willemspark (now Plein 1813) in The Hague. Belongs to the print of the monument.
