About this work

Stained-glass diamond in grisaille and flesh color with a cartouche in the grotesque style, surmounted by a female figure. In the cartouche, a coat of arms and text: Rutger van Haersolte of Haerst, Lord of Staveren, Land Bailiff of Salland and the "T" County of Lingen; and Vrou Elisabet Margarieta Van Pallandt, married 1664; and below that again Anno 1664.
