About this work
Armchair of oak wood resting on four legs. The legs are connected to each other by an H-shaped cross. The front legs have a beveled side at both the bottom and top and extend into the arm supports. The rear legs extend into the upward-tapering back stiles. The backrest consists of a wide top rail with a narrow rail below it. Between and below these is an open space. The armrests are inset into the back stiles and are rounded on all sides. The loose seat rests on four rails that connect the legs at the top. The seat is upholstered in green wool.
