Brooch of gilded copper with an image (photograph) of a young man. Standing oval smooth copper frame, surrounded by a substantial link border of smooth and worked gilded copper. Thick glass with cut facets. Prominent pin. The image is a bust of a young man. Half-long hair, parting, small ring beard. Jacket with high closure and small lapels, bow tie, collar with turned-down points. Originally attached to the blue/black silk jacket of 1860.
