About this work
Earthenware wall plaque, on the occasion of the 25th wedding anniversary of J.R. Tutein Nolthenius and M.A. Cordes. The abstract flower(?) decoration is executed in brown (incised in the white glaze) and in yellow and blue on the glaze, in the center a round yellow field with a double shield under a crown, again in brown and incised in the white glaze, with the letters N and C in yellow. On the edge in white on brown: MDCCCLXXXIII (left) and MCMVIII (right) and at the bottom XX september.
