Prayer rug with upper panel, MUDJUR. Central field: stone-red mihrab with a pointed top and four-colored stepped gable line. The spandrels are bottle-green, each with a large flower and a small white oil lamp. A narrow frieze runs above with a white "omega line" between battlements in lilac, red, and black. Borders: multiple. The middle and widest is yellow, with tight squares cut out, each containing a starflower between four diagonal leaves; all with richly colored compartments, kaleidoscopically arranged. The inner selvedge is blue with diamonds and framed by fine zigzag and speckled bands. The outer selvedge is black with clustered cross-flowers.
