About this work

Flower rug, Kazak. Central field: dark brown-black ground with a grid pattern in light blue bordered red in which a flower stands in muted colors: English red, light brown, blue, old pink and for the stems and leaves pale yellow. Borders: triple. The middle is dark brown-black with whole hexagons and half diamonds in yellow, pink, blue and turquoise. Equal inner and outer borders of white with a flower vine in black with red and blue flowers. Fringes: short beige fringes, at the bottom with a zigzag line and at the top with long braided fringe.
