About this work
Cap of batiste, built up from a horseshoe-shaped cap body with eight sewn-on narrow borders. The cap is trimmed around the face with three flounces with scalloped edges; these are finished with a festoon stitch. The cap body can be drawn up with a batiste ribbon. The chin straps are also of batiste.
