About this work

Linen damask napkin with the capture of Ghent. The mirrored pattern has the following images from bottom to top: a city view, a sailing ship and a rowing boat on water, a city view (London), the inscription GAND and a rider. The borders feature French lilies. This napkin belongs with two other napkins (BK-1975-6-A to BK-1975-6-C) to a tablecloth (BK-1975-5).
