About this work
Front sleeve with cuff of Brussels lace. The balloon model has a long smooth cuff with inserts and a strip of Brussels lace. The sleeve is embroidered with flowers and the cuff with stars and leaves. The three lace inserts in the cuff each consist of a row of round holes between stripes. The tulle in the cuff is of a finer quality than that of the sleeve and is decorated with stars and a sewn-on ribbon in the form of coffee beans. The edge of the cuff is scalloped with a row of curved flower branches. The cuff has three buttons.
