About this work

Baby's bonnet of lilac silk, decorated with chenille embroidery and gold passementerie, edged with lace. The embroidery consists of a tuft of rose roses with a bud on green stems. Machine-made lace. Stiff inner lining and lining of grey-purple linen with white, yellow, and brown stripes.
