About this work
The round warming pan rests on three ebony legs, which are composed of a high bulbous part, a narrowed neck, and a low bulbous crown. The red copper inner vessel rests in a cylindrical holder connected to the round stand ring by three S-scrolls. The S-scrolls partially merge with three widening, faceted C-scrolls, which form the connection with the legs. Fillet borders run along the top and bottom of the holder for the inner vessel and along the outer wall of the stand ring.
