Holder for an oil and vinegar set with four bottles in a pointed oval holder

The pointed oval holder has straight walls, slightly raised on the sides. It rests on four tapering, curved, ribbed feet. Above these feet and along the upper side of the holder run beaded edges. Below the upper edge is an openwork border of lattice work. Along the inner side of the upper edge are four arched projections, upon which the insert rests. This consists of a plate with four large cutouts for the bottles of colorless, cut glass and four smaller ones for the stoppers. Running through the center of this plate is a rod, crowned by four decreasing spheres, and ending at the bottom in a screw, which can be screwed fast with a nut under the mahogany base. Around the openings for the stoppers are low raised walls, decorated with beaded edges. From here rise curved connecting pieces to the center, where they unite in a loop-shaped handle. The connecting pieces are also decorated with beaded edges, which continue along the sides of the handle.
