About this work

Fichu of natural-colored lace embroidery: Mechlin lace or Limerick lace, with tambour work on machine-made tulle. The pattern features along the sides two borders of angular meanders, within which a running pattern of loose stems with bell and star flowers. In the center, rows of stars and rosettes alternate.
