About this work
Strip of natural-coloured bobbin lace. Worked with thick threads. The very open pattern consists of three rows of linked triangles. The diagonal lines of the triangles are made of ribbons in densely worked linen stitch. The horizontal lines are made with three braided threads. At each corner the triangles are connected by mesh ground, which here forms a more or less star-shaped field. Along the top and bottom of the strip runs a border with square meshes.
