About this work
Strip of natural-colored crocheted lace imitating punto in aria (needle lace). The repeating and symmetrical pattern consists of triangular shells with an arch around a rosette at each point. The pattern is based on needle lace patterns from the beginning of the 17th century. The top side of the strip is finished with a woven linen band.
