About this work
Epaulette of plain silver brocade with a plain button featuring a wall crown on a red wool or baize braid. Model: flat shoulder piece. On the inside, a half cushion back, stuffed and covered with blue wool. With a long copper hook for attachment to the jacket. Decoration: elliptical open wrong, set in a finer cannetille cord, from which fine torsades or fringes hang. Part of a uniform jacket by Van Slingelandt and Teding van Berkhout or Six.
