About this work

Cardboard hatbox for a hatpin. The box is covered with dark green paper edged with light green braid. Lined with yellow paper. Closure by means of a brown cotton ribbon. Various cardboard parts attached to each other with sewing stitches using thin twine. On the lid the firm name: HOF LEVERANCIERS/J.J. FROGER & ZOON/AMSTERDAM.
