About this work

Green wool kepi. For day uniform of the 'burgerwacht' of Amsterdam. From major-intendant D.M. Niermans. Cylindrical model, with flat bottom and hardened black flap. Four air vents. Horizontal and vertical piping of gold cord, storm band also of gold cord. Cockade of gold thread with a blue heart with a loop above a smooth button. Below it an orange enameled star. Address: Fa. C. v. Hal & Zoon/Reigerstraat 14 Tel. 3164/Breda. Lining of orange-yellow artificial silk. In a cardboard box.
