About this work
Jacket of black cloth with black silk collar, part of frock coat costume. Lying cloth collar with gabardine satin faced lapels, with one buttonhole on the left side. In the front panels no buttonholes, but twice two dummy, covered with black silk buttons. Batwing-shaped back panels with center seam and split. In the pockets inner pockets. At the top under the quilted satin lining two inner pockets. Address: on the loop: EDUARD DAVIDSON/HAARLEM and in red stitches: 05 (before 1905).
