About this work
The lectern is composed of the following cast parts: the writing surface, the rail, two rods, and nuts for attachment to the pulpit. The support has an iron screw thread with a copper nut for attachment to the pulpit and a connecting piece between the support and the lectern. The parts are cast and chased, and the decoration is pierced in places. The lectern and support are richly decorated with Rococo ornaments. The lectern has two mirror monograms: NL (left), CDVB (right). At the top two symbols of faith: a flaming winged heart and a snake.
