About this work
Men's waistcoat of wool tweed, in blue, green with red check. Possibly part of a hunting costume (?). Short waistcoat, front panels cut to points. Fairly high neck with collar and lapels. Four pockets with obliquely sewn flaps. Six buttons. Lining of light yellow satin. On the left an inner pocket that can be closed with a button. Back of dirty green satin, straps with buckle on which 'SOLIDE' and with name tag, on which in handwriting: 'Jhr. Mr. H. Gevers'.
