About this work
Lace curtain: white tambour work on ecru-colored machine-made tulle. The pattern features garlands of arches and olive branches, laurel wreaths, and a flowerpot, within a soutache ornament. The curtain is finished on three sides with bobbin lace galloon and has sewn-on copper rings along the top edge.
