Table with carved insects and owls

Oak table resting on two aprons on a raised base. The two aprons are connected to each other by a rail at the bottom and two at the top. The aprons each consist of a panel framed by rails and are flanked by free-standing ebony columns on a high square base that end in semi-circular supports on both sides with a carved insect. Above this a wide frame flanked by carved owls of ebony. The two frames are connected to each other by a vertically placed panel under the tabletop. The tabletop consists of four panels bordered by molding and contains kickboards in the form of screwed-on black-painted metal strips.
