Rectangular palm shawl with an elongated, lobed central cartouche and a multicoloured all-over pattern

Rectangular palm shawl (root cloth) of wool, with a multicoloured full pattern. The symmetric pattern is on a long vertical and short horizontal axis. In the middle an elongated, lobed cartouche, which is integrated into the rest of the decoration. At the long ends stand two long, turned botas, with a small palmette hanging between them in the middle. On the horizontal axis stands a small palmette, from which a quadruple, brace-shaped side border runs, continuing to the short ends. Nos. three and four have rosette-shaped lobes, which face outwards and are extended in the corner to a palmette. In the double vertical border with inward-directed arches and with a similar solution also in the horizontal borders continuing. In the horizontal border stand outside the mentioned arches gates with solid parts. These have from the middle out the colours of black, turquoise, red, green, between which narrow 'alleys' occur in red, white, ochre-yellow, which then repeat.
