About this work
Armchair of black lacquered wood resting on four square legs. The front legs are straight and the rear legs are slightly curved and extend into the back stiles. The seat is framed by four rails, the two side rails being straight and the front and rear rails curved. The lower rail of the backrest is also curved. From the middle of the backrest, flat angular armrests descend, resting at the front, not in line with the front legs, on flat supports that are partly attached to and partly against the seat. Both the backrest and the seat are upholstered in blue tripple. The seat upholstery is trimmed with a beige piping.
