About this work
Children's slipper of cream-colored waffle piqué, embroidered with silk flowers and trimmed with scalloped shells. Model: flat, cut-out front, high heel with two straps that originally closed in the middle front by means of a velvet button (which is now missing), lined with pink linen. Decoration: in the middle of the nose an embroidered vertical band with on both sides two embroidered flowers. The shell edges are scalloped with silk. Velvet button missing.
