About this work
Chamber pot on a stoneware foot with blue-black transfer decoration, painted in mottled colors and ochre luster. The wall features a Chinese house with a garden, in which two women are walking. The bottom of the bowl has the same motif. The foot rim and the inner side of the wall are decorated with flowers, trellis work, and abstract motifs.
