About this work
Children's dress of white linen above the hem, decorated with a border of broderie anglaise. High waist with wide waistband. Square neckline and puffed sleeves. Skirt gathered at the back with deep pleats at the waistband. Fastening at the centre back. Notable are the white loops under and along the armholes. The hem hangs completely loose.
