About this work

Pair of stockings of white knitted cotton. Fancy pattern on leg and instep. With seam and square heel. At the cuff several narrow, round bands. Below the cuff to the right of the seam marked with red cross-stitches: RVG. From the family of Geuns in Amsterdam: Rebekka Anna van Geuns (1839-1909) or Regina Christina van Geuns (1848- ).
