About this work

Lady's shoe of dark blue calfskin with a dark blue ribbon lacing. Model: Rounded pointed toe, single piece of leather. Fastening at the front over the instep by two rows of five eyelets with a dark blue lacing. At the ends of the lacing, a blue bead is attached. The front of the heel runs straight down in a rounded corner. The side and back of the heel are slightly waisted and covered with dark blue calfskin. Brown leather heel counter with six nails driven into the heel and a brown leather sole. Shoe lined with black leather. The tongue is lined with cream-colored felt. The heel is reinforced with a T-shaped piece of rough leather. The insole is of black leather. Decoration: The forepart is decorated with horizontal stitched narrow bands. A dark blue band of calfskin runs vertically from the lacing to the toe. On the heel, from the heel to the shaft edge, a band of dark blue calfskin. Shaft edge bound with dark blue ribbon.
