About this work
Fragment of a toy fire clock of lead-glazed earthenware, with one handle. The clock is covered with a yellow slip layer that is cut out in several places. On the clock, a double acorn, human heads, and ornaments are applied in relief, and under the handle a tower in relief (coat of arms of Alkmaar?). Some reliefs are covered with green lead glaze.
