Cup with the portrait of Philips, Count of Flanders

Porcelain head on a foot, painted on the glaze in enamel colors and gold. The outer wall is divided into four compartments, one of which contains a medallion with the portrait of Philip, Count of Flanders, signed 'A. Ambronn'. On either side of this, in relief, a classical representation: Hercules with the lion and Europa with the bull. The ear is in the form of a winged, classically dressed person, kneeling on scrollwork that extends into leafy scrolls on the head. The figure leans with both arms on a coat of arms with the alliance coat of arms of the couple with the motto 'NICHTS OHNE GOTT'. Marked on the underside with a scepter under which a medallion with an eagle, a scepter and a globe in its claws. The rim inscription reads 'KOENIGL. PORZELLAN MANUFAKTUR'. Next to it the letters S and D.
