About this work

Round plate of lead-glazed earthenware, on three shell-shaped feet. The plate is decorated in white slip, with three pomegranates on the flat surface, alternating with leaf or flower motifs, and on the rim four pomegranates alternating with two symmetrically placed leaf motifs. The plate is covered with locally tinted green lead glaze.
