About this work

Porcelain lid. The lid rim is scalloped, a fruit on a branch with leaves as the knob. Painted with a regular scattered pattern of rosettes alternating in blue and gold. Along the foot, rim and lid of the tureen is a gold leaf vine next to a gold border with hanging foliage. Handles and knob decorated with gold ornament.
