About this work
Porcelain lid, painted in beet-red with figures in a landscape with a farm. On the lid a man sitting on a mound, on the back of both parts a mound. Around the lid knob, decorated with a rosette in gold, a wreath of leaves in beet-red. The rim and lid edge are provided with a gilded edge.
