About this work
Napkin of white linen damask with a pattern of scattered flowers, borders with decorative tassels, in the corners the quartered coat of arms of Rijckaert-Bartolotti; for Jacobus Rijckaert (1610-1671) and Constantia Bartolotti (1615-1679), who married in 1638. See also BK-1988-17: a completely identical napkin, except for the shield division, and probably made for Constantia Rijckaert herself.
