Chest with Silver Mounting and a Removable Compartment

Writing box of satinwood with chased, cast silver mounts with rocaille motifs. The interior is divided into a hollow space, closed at the top by a removable inner box. The latter is subdivided into a large central compartment and two narrow small compartments. These three spaces are covered with three inset lids which are also provided with worked silver mounts.
