About this work

Tablecloth, made from two fragments of a chasuble and trimmed with galloon of metal strips, lined with artificial silk with an interwoven floral pattern. Top fabric: pink silk with embroidery of metal thread in a design of parallel stripes, between and over which embroidery of foliage and flowers.
