About this work
Strip of silk damask with a pattern of blocks, framed by thin yellow stripes, in horizontal bands with a staggered pattern within the blocks of alternating chrysanthemum and four symbols, and bamboo and bird combined with geyoekte stripes in the inner triangle; these designs in vertical color bands of purple with aubergine and silver-grey with rose-grey. Oriental textile.
